Ambulatory Surgery Center
Gateway Surgery Center (GSC) opened in October of 1998. It is a multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center with 11 physicians currently providing services. GSC is an ambulatory surgery center that is more private, convenient and cost-effective alternative to a hospital environment. Gateway Surgery Center is accredited by the AAAHC (the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care Inc.) and Medicare certified.
Patients who elect to have surgery at GSC can arrive on the day of the procedure, have their surgery or procedure and recover under the care of our nursing staff, all without hospital admission. All of our patients and their families can benefit from the spacious and comfortable environment at GSC.
Compared to a hospital, patients having their procedures done at an ambulatory surgery center can expect a reduction in their out-of-pocket expense. Gateway Surgery Center provides a welcoming atmosphere, caring health professionals and a variety of ambulatory surgery services to our community and surrounding area.
