Biography
Since 1983 Dr. Manning has been providing quality care in the areas of pulmonary medicine, critical care medicine, and sleep medicine. He has continued to update his practice by being recertified in critical care twice, and also by attaining certification in sleep medicine.
Some of his many accomplishments include assisting Mercy Hospital in the re-design of their critical care unit, and in establishing the present sleep lab. At Medical Associates he has established the longest and largest pulmonary rehabilitation program in the State of Iowa, and presently maintains an up-to-date current pulmonary diagnostic laboratory, along with well-experienced respiratory and nursing service staff. He has been published in the State of Iowa Medical Journal.
He is a member and chairman of various committees of the hospital. He is a member of the American Medical Association, Iowa Medical Society, American College of Physicians, American College of Chest Physicians, American Thoracic Society, and the Clinton County Medical Society. He is currently president for his second term in the Clinton County Medical Society.
He and his wife, Lourdes, have enjoyed and resided in this community and raised their six children here in Clinton.
